Rand Guitar Prototype Bolt-on (1985/1986)

Description

This is the only known Rand Bolt-on Prototype.  Rand Havener was originally going to make these prior to the 27 set-neck version as a cost-effective option.  It’s essentially a Tom Anderson parts guitar (all the 27 fret versions were all Tom Anderson parts).  The writing on the neck says “”Edward V.” and according to Tom Anderson, it was likely from the same batch as Ed’s banana headstock Tom Anderson neck (as seen in the “Feel’s So Good” video).
