Description

MXR Flanger, late 1970s, Need Repair.  This was gigged extensively through the 1970s and 80s.  I acquired this from my former band mate who toured with it in Holland during the late 1970s.  I gigged with it for three years in the early 2010s and functioned perfectly.    I stored it away for two years, tried it out before this listing, and now it doesn’t work (buzzing).  Ironic, right?  It makes it through a drug-infused multi-decade charade but stops working when it’s stored in a good climate environment.  I guess these things are meant to be played.

I think it’s an easy fix.  I’m thinking one of the capacitors needs to be replaced.  This thing has literally been played through every rock scene imaginable.
