Description

Based on my research, this is essentially the very first FRT-5 clone ever made.  Available in May 1983 before licensing agreements existed.  Made of bent-steel and super high quality.  Made similarly to the Mike Hansen Whale tail but different look.  These were made in Japan as soon as, I believe, the Kramer deal was struck with Floyd Rose.  Soon afterwards, production was stopped, and not many of these exist – usually seen on high quality ESP guitars from mid-1983.  A great collector’s piece, and in fact, these are GREAT tremolos overall.  Personally, I believe there is some kind of mysterious history (like all Fernandes official Floyds) to these which we will never know about.
